We believe in God the
Eternal Father, His son Jesus Christ , and in the Holy Ghost.
We believe that these three are seprate and distinct beings. God
and Jesus have Resurrected, perfect and immortal bodies, while the
Holy Ghost is a spirit.

We believe in prophets and modern Revelation. Gordon B. Hinckley is God's chosen Prophet on the earth today. The Bible is the word of God, as is the book of Mormon, and the Doctrine and Covenents. |

God
visited Joseph Smith in the sacred grove and chose him to be the
first Prophet in these last days.Later an angel named Moroni
delivered up plates of gold to Joseph, and by the power and spirit
of God, translated them to english known as the Book of Mormon.
The Book of Mormon is about the people who inhabited the Americas (North and South) apx. 600 BC to 400 AD. In it are the teachings of Christ and the Prophets and dealings of God among these people. Also in it is their history. After the death of Christ on the cross and his resurrection, HE came to this continent and taught the same Gospel he did in Israel. We know this to be the only true church on the face of the earth, and by living the gospel, and doing the ordinances set by GOD we can become even like He is. Christ will come again and reign 1000 years on this Earth, known as the Millennium, and their will be peace and prosperity during these times |
We have sacred buildings known as Temples
where we do the ordinances for those who have died. Only worthy members
who are living the gospel and have a recommend can go in. Families also can be together forever
after this life. |
