Hold On --To His Hand

Laying on my bed
I can't get to sleep
Staring up at the ceiling
And I start to think
What he did for me
The great love he had
All I need to do is reach out
And take a hold of his hand

Hold on, hold on to his hand
       And never let go
Hold on, hold on to his hand
He'll lead me to where I need to go
       What he went through

The pain he felt
I can't even imagine
All he asks us to do
Is take hold of his hand
And keep his commandments

Hold on, hold on to his hand
       And never let go
Hold on, hold non to his hand
Because he's walking by your side
       To lead you back home
Hold on, hold on to his hand
       Let him lead the way
       And he'll lead us back
To the place we want to be
To live our lives with him for all eternity

Jesus paid the price for all our sins
All we have to do is repent and follow him
He showed the way he marked the path
So take a hold of his hand
And he'll lead you back
To out Heavenly Hather who lives above
A God of mercy, a God of love

Hold on, hold on to his hand
       Let him lead the way
And we will live with him
       At the last day
Hold on, hold on to his hand
       And never let go
       He's walking by your side
       To lead you back home
Hold on, hold on to his hand
       He's the only way
       He'll  lead us back to
The place we want to be
To live with him for eternity
Hold on, hold on to his hand
       And never let go
Hold on, hold on to his hand
And he'll lead us the way back home
